Tasters from OPTIMEET Masterclass in meeting and event management
This inspirational session is a smaller version of OPTIMEET Masterclass, designed to give you an insight into this format and what it offers you as an event and meeting manager
It combines short, sharp presentations with dialogue and networking. The focus is on how you, as an event and meeting manager, can create significantly greater value before, during, and after the event, not through larger production, but through better thinking, clearer roles, and stronger concepts.
Each session ends with a joint review and clear, useful takeaways that can be used directly in your own practice. Exactly what participating in the Masterclass can give you.
At this workshop, you will learn the 5 most important design principles behind participant-involving conferences and large meetings, and you will see a few examples of how the principles can be translated into concrete choices in your program.
Finally, you will work with a planning canvas based on the design principles, so you will leave with a first draft of the planning for your next event, which you can build on after the expo.
What you can look forward to:
This is how the 30 minutes are structured:
15 min.: The 5 design principles + specific examples/approaches
10 min.: Work on your own event on the planning canvas (solo or in pairs)
5 min.: Summary and questions

A lack of courage turns meetings into mis-meetings.
In this intense flash workshop, Bastian Overgaard challenges a widespread human behavior that lowers the quality of both meetings and conferences.
Based on the STOP OP-rule from Bastian's book MØDELAGT, you are invited to explore how small, courageous steps can create better focus, stronger knowledge sharing, and more presence—without requiring major changes.
The workshop lasts 30 minutes and consists of an ultra-short presentation, reflection, and sharing in small groups.

A well-produced event is not necessarily a valuable event. This session is about working insight-based and developing concepts that feel relevant, targeted, and meaningful to participants—not just impressive in form and format.
